Salary: €7,500 – €9,500 gross monthly (for Vilnius/Lithuania); PLN 30,900 – PLN 43,000 gross monthly (for Poland).

What you will do

• Improve existing algorithms to optimize financial product performance.
• Build and deploy new PoCs to address complex data-driven business challenges.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and fellow data scientists to ensure scalable implementation.
• Deliver data-driven insights that inform and guide product development decisions.
• Research and evolve prototypes into high-scale production-ready data products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering).
• Proven experience building and leading data science initiatives in a scaling organization.
• Solid proficiency in Python, SQL, and production frameworks.
• Strong grasp of probability and statistical fundamentals.
• Ability to bridge the gap between complex research and production-ready solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced quantitative degree (Master’s or PhD).
• Experience with Java, Scala, or C++.
• Familiarity with anti-fraud algorithms and systems.
• Background working in a large-scale global tech company.
• Participation in physics, mathematics, or programming Olympiads.
