What you will do

• Architect and own core integrations platform services, balancing velocity with long-term maintainability.
• Implement data-driven development practices using DORA metrics to improve delivery performance.
• Lead technical design processes, including writing RFCs and ADRs for complex system changes.
• Mentor and elevate the team through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and setting engineering standards.
• Pioneer the integration of AI-powered development tools to accelerate organizational workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to deeply understand customer workflows and deliver high-impact technical solutions.

Requirements

• Must reside and have the legal right to work in the UK, Latvia, or Spain.
• 7+ years of experience building and running complex backend systems.
• Solid experience with Node.js and PHP in mixed-stack environments.
• Proven track record in the integrations space with patterns like webhooks, polling, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, message queues, and cloud services like AWS.
• Demonstrated mastery of AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
