What you will do

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, BAs, and testers in a collaborative environment.
• Provide technical leadership for Java microservices and AWS cloud platforms.
• Own end-to-end delivery by working with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Drive technical debt strategy to maintain system resilience and long-term scalability.
• Embed quality assurance practices, including TDD and automated testing, into the delivery cycle.
• Perform code reviews to ensure performance, security, and architectural standards are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend engineering with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong background in designing and orchestrating workflows with AWS Step Functions and distributed systems.
• Expertise in modern architecture patterns including RESTful and event-driven microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, and SQS.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in coaching and developing engineers.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Agile delivery frameworks.
