Senior Network Reliability Engineer

What you will do

• Contribute to network architecture and design improvements.
• Monitor and improve the reliability, availability, and scalability of infrastructure and services.
• Build automation capabilities using code and modern tools to reduce manual operations.
• Lead incident response and conduct post-mortem analysis for root cause remediation.
• Perform capacity planning, demand forecasting, and performance tuning.
• Create dashboards and reports for proactive monitoring of infrastructure health.

Requirements

• University degree and 7+ years of related experience.
• Must have the right to work in Ireland.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and OSI layers.
• Extensive experience with BGP routing on the public internet.
• Proficiency in network monitoring techniques like SNMP, telemetry, and syslog.
• Solid grasp of network security best practices, firewalls, and VPN services.

Nice to have

• Network automation skills using Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Software engineering skills with Python.
• Experience with Junos and Juniper platforms (MX, QFX, EX).
• Understanding of Linux or Kubernetes systems.
