Location: On-site in South Plainfield, New Jersey

Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Execute assay development, optimization, and verification studies.
• Perform method validation experiments including precision, linearity, and stability testing.
• Conduct hands-on laboratory testing using blood-based specimens.
• Troubleshoot assay performance issues and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Prepare validation summaries and documentation for CAP and CLIA compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinical Laboratory Operations for successful assay transfer and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an R&D or clinical laboratory environment.
• Experience working with blood-based assays.
• Proven ability to support assay validation and verification studies.
• Strong laboratory technique and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in diagnostics or clinical laboratory assay development.
• Experience with automated platforms such as Roche Cobas Pro or Sysmex.
• Familiarity with capillary blood specimens.
• Basic knowledge of statistical analysis for assay performance.
• Experience in a CAP/CLIA regulated environment.
