What you will do

• Automate repetitive infrastructure tasks to accelerate product development.
• Drive the architectural design and evolution of core infrastructure for high-scale systems.
• Ensure operational excellence through robust monitoring, incident management, and preventive engineering.
• Collaborate with product teams to abstract complex concerns like compute, security, and availability.
• Lead high-impact infrastructure initiatives from initial conception to production delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland.
• Extensive experience in designing and operating high-scale distributed systems in cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Strong background in software engineering disciplines applied to infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of reliability, performance metrics, and failure mode analysis.
• Proven ability to own and drive complex cross-team technical projects to completion.
• Clear communication skills for technical documentation and incident reviews.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling.
