Agent Platform Engineer (AI) (Azure/Copilot Studio/Agentic AI): Building reusable agent platforms, skills, integrations, and deployment patterns for governed enterprise AI solutions with an accent on secure cloud-native engineering, trusted knowledge access, and scalable automation. Focus on designing agent orchestration, authorization, evaluation, telemetry, and operational practices that accelerate AI adoption across business functions.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; hybrid workplace

is a Fortune 500 consumer goods company developing an enterprise AI strategy across supply chain, sales, marketing, finance, customer service, and R&D.
What you will do
- Build and evolve the enterprise agent platform, reusable skills, engineering standards, and deployment patterns.
- Develop governed agents, trusted data and knowledge layers, secure integrations, human-oversight workflows, and reusable action connectors.
- Design and implement agent orchestration, prompt and tool capabilities, approval flows, evaluation tests, and deployment automation.
- Own the full lifecycle of platform capabilities from design and development through deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
- Implement AgentOps, telemetry, observability, and FinOps/value-management practices to support secure and scalable AI adoption.
- Partner with architects, security teams, product owners, data engineers, senior leaders, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value AI capabilities.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, data/AI engineering, automation, or cloud application development; 5–7 years may be acceptable with a master’s degree or PhD.
- At least 3 years of experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, automation, data/AI solutions, or platform services.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Python, TypeScript or C#, GitHub or Azure DevOps, CI/CD, API integration, telemetry, and secure development practices.
- Experience building token-based authorization frameworks and integrating enterprise-grade IAM solutions.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, agent orchestration, RAG, Azure AI Search, function apps, app services, containers, and deployment automation.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, engineering, data/AI, cybersecurity, finance, business analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
