What you will do

• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and product owners.
• Translate complex business objectives into actionable contexts for engineering and project teams.
• Facilitate communication and executive alignment within Japanese corporate structures.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure project milestones remain realistic and aligned with client needs.
• Proactively identify and manage stakeholder friction and project risks throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software delivery, project, product, or account management.
• Proven track record of success working with Japanese enterprise clients.
• Native or near-native Japanese (JLPT N1) and professional English proficiency.
• Expertise in both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
• Experience in navigating consensus-driven decision-making environments.
• Ability to interpret complex architectural discussions for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in the travel or aviation domain.
• Familiarity with airline industry systems like Amadeus or Sabre.
• Strong background in e-commerce platform development.
