About the Role

You will join an intense, in‑office three month residency where you work directly on live trading infrastructure and AI driven strategies. You will read and modify real production code, spec and implement features, write tests, and deploy changes to production. You will own a service or workflow, be first line of defense when incidents occur, and drive improvements. Expect high output, frequent feedback, and long periods of focused, disciplined engineering to accelerate your technical growth.

Requirements

• Strong CS foundations including data structures and algorithms
• Knowledge of distributed systems and messaging patterns
• Experience or comfort with concurrency and async programming
• Familiarity with latency optimization and profiling
• Understanding of trading architecture including orders, fills, and P&L
• Willingness to work full time in-office with intensive hours (Sunday–Thursday and additional hours when required)

Responsibilities

• Work on live trading infrastructure and production code
• Ship tested features and infrastructure into production
• Design, implement, and test data pipelines and backtesting tools
• Implement and maintain risk checks and execution safeguards
• Profile and optimize systems for latency and throughput
• Operate on-call and respond to incidents
• Own a system end-to-end and drive its improvements
• Spec changes and coordinate with teammates to deliver work
