System Test Engineer

TL;DR

System Test Engineer: Interacting with clients from the requirements stage to application delivery with an accent on preparing test documents and tracking testing activities. Focus on automating test cases using Robot Framework and Shell scripts in a Unix environment, and managing platform VMs using Cloudify CLI and OpenStack Horizon.

Location: Edison, NJ and unanticipated locations throughout US. Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US

What you will do

• Interact with the client from the requirements stage to the delivery of the application.
• Track and prepare reports of testing activities.
• Prepare and baseline test documents for client provided technical requirements.
• Upload test cases and progress execution on Jira.
• Execute test cases through Robot Framework and writing Shell scripts to automate testing and run test cases in Unix environment.
• Manage Azure resources from the Azure portal and run ADO pipelines for resource updates.

Requirements

• Master’s or equivalent in Computer Science/Applications, Information Technology/Systems or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year experience as System Test Engineer, Test Engineer, QA Engineer, Tech Manager or related. (Will accept Bachelor’s and 6 years of work experience.)
