Software Engineer, Test & Automation (Starlink Mobile): Integrating hardware and software to design and build test infrastructure for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and validation of radio access network (RAN) software. What you will do

• Develop modular test software frameworks and integrate satellite hardware and test equipment for the development and verification of cellular software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation lab infrastructure and work with partner teams to resolve failures.
• Build tools and dashboards to provide insight into testbed and production network performance.
• Collaborate with developers on new 4G and 5G cellular features and create automated tests to verify functionality and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline; OR 4+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
• Experience with Linux, Python and VCS (Git)
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice to have

• Experience building, automating, and troubleshooting hardware in the loop (HIL/HITL) testbeds with equipment such as network devices, lab instrumentation, and mobile phones
• Experience with configuration management, version control software, continuous integration, and agile development
• Experience with Gitlab, Bazel, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment that includes working with changing needs and requirements
