User Research Intern

Salary: $53 - $55 per hour

What you will do

• Work closely with a mentor and user research leadership to define project details and contribute to product direction
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and product management to craft research approaches
• Conduct actionable user research to guide product decisions and design processes
• Incorporate feedback from mentors and cross-functional teams to improve research outcomes

Requirements

• Must be graduating December 2026 or later with a Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in research processes including qualitative data collection, analysis, and synthesis
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams in dynamic environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Location: Hybrid work in San Francisco, California, USA

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple research methodologies such as user interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, and inferential statistics
• Experience using remote/digital research tools like UserTesting.com, Qualtrics, Zoom, etc.
