What you will do

• Lead and mentor the security team, keeping them up-to-date with emerging threats and tooling.
• Build and integrate automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist with Bug Bounty program and penetration testing efforts, prioritizing fixes based on actual risk.
• Act as a technical lead during product-related security incidents, performing root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead “Security Champion” programs.

Requirements

• 7+ years in security engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or “staff-level” capacity.
• Ability to read and understand codebases in languages like Go, Python, Java, or C++/C Sharp.
• Deep expertise in securing AWS/GCP/Azure, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and the ability to manually exploit vulnerabilities to demonstrate risk.
• Experience with modern security stacks (e.g., Snyk, GitHub Advanced Security, Wiz, or Burp Suite).
• Experience reviewing logs and security investigations.
