Forward Deployed Engineer: Building and deploying solutions using hirify.global’s platform, working side-by-side with strategic global customers' engineering teams with an accent on production code, shaping technical architecture, and directly influencing how hirify.global products are used at massive scale. Focus on establishing and maintaining trusted technical relationships with senior leadership and surfacing real-world product insights back to hirify.global engineering.

Location: Must maintain a regular on-site presence at customer locations to foster deep collaboration and cultural alignment. Available Locations: Sydney, Australia

What you will do

• Serve as the dedicated, long-term technical partner within a strategic customer’s engineering organization.
• Design, build, and deploy production-ready code and configurations directly into customer infrastructure using the hirify.global platform.
• Own the account's technical success across the entire hirify.global portfolio and serve as the primary technical point of contact.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate the adoption of hirify.global services, unlocking new capabilities across the customer’s tech stack.
• Surface real-world edge cases and product gaps directly to hirify.global’s Product and Engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain trusted technical relationships with senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production-grade systems.
• Experience owning mission-critical services with real-world users and understanding the gravity of on-call rotations and incident response.
• Currently in the IDE, maintaining a high velocity with modern frameworks, languages, and deployment patterns.
• Broad technical fluency across the entire stack—from frontend performance and backend logic to database optimization and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including serverless, networking, and security primitives.
• Comfortable engaging in high-stakes technical and strategic discussions with VP-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Direct experience building on hirify.global Workers, or the broader hirify.global Developer Platform.
• Previous experience at a fast-paced startup or in a customer-facing engineering role where you operated directly within a partner’s codebase.
• A visible public profile, including open-source contributions, technical blogging, or speaking engagements at industry conferences.
