Senior Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Raanana, Israel (Hybrid role: 2 days in office, 3 days remote).

What you will do

• Architect and standardize a scalable Playwright framework for multi-team adoption.
• Lead and execute the migration strategy from Selenium to Playwright.
• Define enterprise automation standards including async programming and test design patterns.
• Design automation infrastructure for reporting, observability, and test analytics.
• Partner with engineering leadership to embed automation into the SDLC.
• Mentor team members and act as the technical authority for automation strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation engineering.
• Demonstrated experience leading Playwright initiatives in mid-to-large enterprise environments.
• Experience designing full-stack automation covering both UI and API.
• Deep understanding of test architecture, CI/CD systems, and distributed testing.
• Proven leadership in driving engineering standards and cross-team adoption.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Proven experience leading Selenium-to-Playwright migration.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies like Jenkins.
