What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, extensible code for Copilot agent services and related developer tools.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to define technical requirements, architectural proposals, and project plans.
• Implement telemetry and instrumentation to monitor system health, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to high-quality standards and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain live services and resolve incidents.
• Analyze data and customer feedback to drive improvements in product features and service reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or equivalent combination of degree and industry experience.
• Proficiency in production-grade languages such as Go, Python, Ruby, Rust, or C/C#.
• Strong background in distributed systems at a global scale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working in a distributed team.
• Proven ability to write maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, asynchronous environment.
