What you will do

• Provide expert legal guidance on U.S. crypto and financial regulations including AML, sanctions, and securities laws.
• Oversee regulatory litigation matters and manage interactions with U.S. government agencies.
• Lead the company response to investigations, enforcement actions, and compliance reviews.
• Act as the primary legal liaison for U.S. regulatory bodies.
• Partner with internal compliance and risk teams to navigate sensitive legal matters.
• Advise leadership on evolving U.S. regulatory developments impacting the crypto sector.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience at a global law firm or in-house legal department.
• Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Deep expertise in U.S. financial litigation and regulatory matters involving FinCEN, SEC, CFTC, or OFAC.
• Strong understanding of U.S. AML and sanctions compliance programs.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. crypto financial products including spot, margin, and futures.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
