Staff Software Engineer (Backend)

What you will do

• Build and maintain scalable backend infrastructure and products to support the platform at scale.
• Develop reliable, high-performance services and client libraries for interacting with cloud storage backends.
• Architect and orchestrate distributed systems to ensure platform reliability and developer productivity.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate pricing infrastructure and data pipelines with systems like Spark and Kubernetes.
• Solve complex challenges spanning product features to low-level infrastructure monitoring and service architecture.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of professional production-level experience in Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages.
• Strong background in developing large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience working within a SaaS platform or Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL.
