What you will do

• Define and communicate the technical direction within the product domain.
• Translate product ambitions and architectural decisions into concrete technical priorities for the roadmap.
• Align multiple teams to ensure consistent design and prevent isolated solutions.
• Coach engineers on complex technical challenges to increase ownership and decision-making skills.
• Lead the resolution of complex incidents and implement permanent structural improvements.
• Drive the adoption of Spec Driven Development and encourage experimentation with AI and modern tools.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior, Staff, or Lead Software Engineer.
• Proven track record of making and communicating architectural decisions in complex software environments.
• Ability to translate technical challenges into clear choices for non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work from the Veghel office at least four days a week.
• Experience with cloud-native development, preferably on AWS.
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies, specifically PHP and Laravel.

Nice to have

• Experience with APIs and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience with relational and non-relational datahirify.globales.
• Expertise in observability, security, and scalability.
