What you will do

• Develop and maintain scalable RESTful services and event-driven systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to deliver end-to-end features for checkout platforms.
• Design and implement interactions between complex system modules.
• Optimize system performance, infrastructure, and observability metrics.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous automated unit, functional, and integration testing.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members on engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Java and object-oriented design.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, Redis).
• Solid understanding of Linux, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing and maintaining high-load event-driven applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like New Relic or Splunk.
• Experience in both Go and Java.
