What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure using AWS services.
• Manage database performance and configuration for Redshift, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Apache Airflow.
• Ensure system security and reliability through advanced AWS networking and IAM management.
• Collaborate using TDD and modern CI/CD practices to deliver high-quality software.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a DataOps or similar engineering role.
• Must be based in Portugal for this position.
• English proficiency: B2 level minimum.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Java.
• Expertise in AWS cloud architecture, networking, and security.
• Strong knowledge of TDD and automated testing practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with system integration techniques like SQS, SNS, and Kinesis.
