What you will do

• Design and maintain scalable backend services for scanning and analyzing cloud data assets and AI services.
• Build infrastructure for detecting sensitive data, PII, and security misconfigurations.
• Integrate detection engines for vulnerabilities across diverse cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security researchers to translate complex requirements into product features.
• Lead end-to-end feature development from design and implementation to production monitoring.
• Improve system observability, resilience, and performance at scale.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience building backend services or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Go.
• Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid foundation in software design, concurrency, and data structures.

Nice to have

• Experience with managed databases like RDS, BigQuery, or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with DSPM (Data Security Posture Management) or privacy engineering.
• Experience with cloud AI/ML services like Vertex AI, Bedrock, or SageMaker.
