TL;DR

Data Intern (Data Analytics): Supporting the Group Data Function by delivering analytics services and implementing data strategy with an accent on technical analysis and project collaboration. Focus on building professional relationships, conducting research, and contributing to high-impact projects within a global insurance environment.

Location: Hybrid (must be based in London, UK)

Salary: £25,000 per annum (pro-rated)

What you will do

• Contribute to challenging data projects while developing a broad understanding of the insurance industry.
• Partner across business functions to build professional relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Participate in training sessions to deepen business and industry expertise.
• Collaborate on a group intern research project and present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Engage in regular check-ins and development support from a dedicated buddy and line manager.

Requirements

• Currently studying for an Undergraduate or Master’s degree with a graduation date in 2027.
• Predicted 2:1 minimum or equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, Excel, Python, or R.
• Fluent business English and strong numerical and interpersonal skills.
• Must have legal permission to work in the UK.
