What you will do

• Define and lead automation strategy covering UI, API, integration, performance, and security layers.
• Architect and evolve scalable, reusable automation frameworks.
• Implement AI-assisted testing to enhance coverage and improve defect detection efficiency.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality validation.
• Establish quality standards, coverage metrics, and observability practices.
• Mentor engineers and elevate automation maturity across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada and able to work remotely.
• 8+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Proven track record designing scalable automation strategies for distributed systems.
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Technical leadership skills with experience influencing engineering standards in Agile environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with medical imaging platforms like DICOM or PACS.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards such as GxP, FDA, or 21 CFR Part 11.
• Background in performance-sensitive or high-resolution UI automation.
