What you will do

• Develop and implement end-to-end test strategies, plans, and procedures for product development and integration.
• Design and execute automated tests using specialized tools and manual processes to ensure software requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior test engineers while establishing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are optimized for testability and cost-effectiveness.
• Assist the Scrum team in debugging complex software issues and maintaining full traceability from requirements to test implementation.
• Configure and support test infrastructure, including stubs, simulators, and emulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least two programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, C#, .NET, Python).
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, Git workflows, and Visual Studio IDE.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology and REST interface testing.
• Must be based in Galway, Ireland or willing to commute to the office.
