Location: Remote within the United States (preference for Central and East Coast). Must reside in the US (excluding AK, DE, IA, MS, NE, SD, VT, WV, WI). Hybrid options available in San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles.

Salary: $127,500 – $178,000 (Tier-based based on location).

What you will do

• Develop behavioral models to capture user motivational states, readiness for change, and health needs.
• Partner with data science and engineering to turn psychological constructs into measurable product signals.
• Integrate behavioral principles into AI-driven strategies covering tone, timing, and framing of guidance.
• Design frameworks to measure the behavioral impact of features across different markets.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary product squads to refine behavior change support for members.
• Ensure strategies are adapted for culturally diverse, global health contexts.

Requirements

• PhD in Behavioral Science, Psychology, HCI, Health Informatics, or related field (Master’s with 3+ years of experience accepted).
• Must be based in the US (excluding specific states).
• Experience applying behavioral science to digital health or AI-enabled products.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
• Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary product environments.
