What you will do
- Provide senior-level technical leadership and mentorship across the engineering organization.
- Champion automation and standardization to accelerate deployments and reduce operational toil.
- Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and observable systems within a global production environment.
- Manage multi-tenant Kubernetes environments with a focus on security and high availability.
- Collaborate with platform teams on data infrastructure integration, including Hadoop and Kafka.
- Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support system availability and incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Strong proficiency in Git and modern CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure in high-availability production environments.
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP, DNS, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience with both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure including hypervisors like VMware or KVM.
