Location: New York, NY. The role follows a hybrid schedule with three days on-site (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two days remote (Monday and Friday).

What you will do

• Provide senior-level technical leadership and mentorship across the engineering organization.
• Champion automation and standardization to accelerate deployments and reduce operational toil.
• Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and observable systems within a global production environment.
• Manage multi-tenant Kubernetes environments with a focus on security and high availability.
• Collaborate with platform teams on data infrastructure integration, including Hadoop and Kafka.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation to support system availability and incident response.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Strong proficiency in Git and modern CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Argo CD.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes infrastructure in high-availability production environments.
• Solid networking knowledge including TCP, DNS, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with both cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure including hypervisors like VMware or KVM.
