What you will do

• Analyze product usage data to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
• Define and track key product metrics including activation, engagement, and retention.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for ongoing performance monitoring.
• Support the analysis and evaluation of A/B tests and other product experiments.
• Collaborate with product managers on tracking concepts and event definitions.
• Work with engineering and data teams to ensure data quality and reliability.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Consistent availability of ~20 hours per week during the semester.
• Proficiency in SQL for query writing and adaptation.
• Basic experience with Python for data analysis.
• Analytical mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with product analytics tools such as PostHog or Amplitude.
• Fluency in German.
