Senior Data Analyst (AdTech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Analyst (AdTech): Driving data-driven insights and building scalable analytical pipelines for a programmatic advertising ecosystem with an accent on high-volume data manipulation and statistical modeling. Focus on optimizing complex Trino operations, automating workflows with dbt/Airflow, and supporting product-led A/B experiments to enhance ad performance.

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Hamburg, Germany (Hybrid setup with 3 core office days).

What you will do

• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions by delivering actionable data insights.
• Build and maintain reliable data pipelines using dbt and Airflow.
• Design scalable data collection and validation processes for high-quality datasets.
• Perform statistical analysis and data mining on massive daily data volumes (5TB+).
• Communicate findings through clear visualizations and dashboards to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Evaluate SDK-side experiments and A/B tests to support feature rollouts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, AdTech experience highly preferred.
• Mastery of advanced SQL (Window Functions, CTEs) and Python for data transformation.
• Strong background in statistical modeling, forecasting, and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience managing high-performance data workflows in Datalake environments.
• Ability to identify business blind spots and execute independent data projects.
• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Hamburg.

Nice to have

• Experience with Analytics Engineering tools like dbt and Airflow.
