Salary: $151,400–$231,200 annually

What you will do

• Collaborate with graphics engineers and artists to align rendering approaches with creative targets.
• Prototype and extend rendering systems within Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop shaders, materials, and automation tools using C++ or Python.
• Identify and resolve complex rendering and performance-related bottlenecks.
• Guide the art team on best practices for world-building and rendering pipelines.
• Conduct look-development to translate high-bar visual goals into real-time content.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in real-time graphics, rendering, or technical artistry.
• Strong proficiency in GPU workflows, lighting, compute shaders, and node-based shading systems.
• Extensive experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Proficiency in shader languages like HLSL or GSL.
• Experience developing tools using C++ or Python.
• US work authorization and residency in specified states for remote eligibility.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DirectX 12 or similar graphics APIs.
• Experience with profiling tools such as PIX, RenderDoc, or Unreal Insights.
