What you will do

• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Production teams to develop world-class player experiences.
• Communicate and steer the visual vision of Fortnite to leadership and the creative team.
• Direct and mentor a global team of multidisciplinary artists including concept, environment, tech art, and VFX.
• Translate development needs into final, high-quality artwork.
• Drive the Fortnite brand forward by identifying creative ideas and steering them through the development pipeline.
• Analyze feedback and data to strategically inform the visual direction of new content.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Proven experience as a product-level Art Director or Creative Director in a game studio.
• Deep understanding of art fundamentals, storytelling, anatomy, and various art styles.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding large, multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience shipping product-level visions and managing complex creative workflows.
• Ability to provide effective feedback and manage outsourcing and contractor relationships.
