What you will do

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to build solutions for democratizing data access.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle for event-driven systems.
• Partner with business analysts to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Mentor other engineers and agile teams to foster technical innovation.
• Perform continuous improvement, system refinement, and refactoring.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
• Strong experience developing services and APIs using C# or Java.
• Solid understanding of both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with secure development practices and Git source control.
• Familiarity with CI automation systems such as Jenkins.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from our UK offices.

Nice to have

• Experience with event streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) and CDC.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure including ECS, EKS, and RDS.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Test-Driven Development.
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or SQS.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot.
