What you will do

• Evaluate and challenge financial crime decisions, specifically regarding account onboarding declines and closures.
• Design a comprehensive framework to identify and reduce incorrect risk decisions affecting legitimate customers.
• Analyze false positive trends in onboarding and offboarding workflows.
• Collaborate with operational teams to translate risk insights into actionable improvements for rules and models.
• Influence the organizational strategy for financial crime decision-making as part of the 2nd Line Financial Crime Risk function.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a financial crime professional with deep expertise in Transaction Monitoring and Customer Due Diligence (CDD).
• Track record of using data and evidence to challenge and improve risk-based decisions.
• Ability to operate effectively within the 2nd Line of Defense risk framework.
• Strong analytical mindset focused on improving decision quality and reducing false outcomes.
