Compensation: £157,000–£210,000 per year + benefits.

What you will do

• Define and drive the long-term ML strategic vision for Operations and business-wide applications.
• Design reusable, scalable ML architectures and modelling standards for cross-team adoption.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, and product teams to integrate ML solutions into core business processes.
• Implement responsible AI practices including model robustness, fairness, and transparency.
• Mentor ML practitioners and elevate technical standards across the organization.
• Champion best practices for ML model development, MLOps, and governance.

Requirements

• Extensive track record leading large-scale ML initiatives with significant business impact.
• Expertise in developing deep learning models, LLMs, and complex AI architectures.
• Professional proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience with MLOps and deploying ML systems at scale in microservices environments.
• Ability to communicate technical ML strategy effectively to executive stakeholders.
• Must have the right to work in the UK or require visa sponsorship to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience in highly-scaling support or operational environments.
• Contributions to open-source ML libraries or public industry thought leadership.
• Familiarity with Go Lang.
