What you will do

• Lead and facilitate principal risk assessments and risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs).
• Provide second-line oversight of market, liquidity, credit, and cyber risks across regulated entities.
• Conduct independent control testing to assess design and operating effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain risk policies, standards, and governance documentation aligned with global regulatory expectations.
• Prepare high-quality risk reporting materials for Board and Committee meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a robust risk culture and provide advisory support on new business initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Risk Management within FCA-regulated firms or global financial institutions.
• Deep knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, risk appetite, and the three lines of defence model.
• Strong understanding of FCA regulatory expectations and governance standards.
• Experience designing and executing structured control testing programmes.
• Proven ability to analyse financial risk data and incident trends to inform senior management.
• Degree-level academic background.

Nice to have

• Professional risk qualifications in Financial Risk, Cyber Risk, or ERM.
• Experience with GRC platforms and risk register tools.
