What you will do

• Take end-to-end ownership of backend components within a cross-functional domain team.
• Develop and scale high-traffic, real-time, geo-located online applications.
• Design and implement robust REST APIs on AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor production services to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers and frontend engineers to ship high-quality features.
• Utilize AI agents and copilots to enhance development efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js and experience with Java (Spring Boot).
• Professional experience in cloud-based development using AWS.
• Hands-on experience with microservice architectures, fault-tolerant systems, and distributed caching.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• English proficiency: Fluent (C1+).
• Eligibility to work in Germany or willingness to undergo visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline management.
• Knowledge of agentic AI tools and LLM integration.
• Background in agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
