What you will do

• Develop, improve, and validate forecasting models for wind, solar, and consumption patterns.
• Collaborate with the Forecast Product Development team to operationalize advanced forecasting solutions.
• Build monitoring and reporting software tools to provide decision support to traders.
• Implement and promote DevOps and MLOps practices using Azure, Databricks, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze data flows and model outputs to identify irregularities and support trading operations.
• Bridge the gap between strategic development projects and real-time operational trading support.

Requirements

• Quantitative MSc in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or a similar field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in data science.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with modern data tooling such as Databricks, Airflow, Snowflake, or Azure.
• Familiarity with software engineering practices including CI/CD, unit testing, and DevOps.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking mindset with attention to detail.

• Proven experience or strong interest in energy markets or commodity trading.
