What you will do

• Design, implement, and deploy AI and NLP models across their full product life cycle.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) components including document ingestion and retrieval pipelines.
• Write efficient, production-ready Python code for preprocessing, model execution, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data science pipelines into production workflows.
• Validate model outputs in collaboration with domain experts in biology and chemistry.
• Monitor and maintain model performance after deployment to ensure high data quality.

Requirements

• MSc/MTech in a quantitative field or a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Applied experience with ML or NLP projects in academic or industry settings.
• Solid programming skills in Python for data analysis and model development.
• Familiarity with transformer models, modern NLP techniques, and LLM implementation.
• Knowledge of RAG concepts and experience with ML algorithms and evaluation practices.
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks like LangChain.
• Familiarity with Databricks or OpenSearch.
• Understanding of deep learning fundamentals and transfer learning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and software engineering practices.
