What you will do

• Design and execute platform-level software projects, collaborating with senior engineers.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build reusable frontend libraries and developer tooling.
• Own infrastructure concerns, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Drive frontend performance, accessibility, and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for junior members of the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Deep expertise in React and modern frontend architecture.
• Strong backend proficiency in Python (Django) or TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction.
• Strong communication skills, especially in distributed environments.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the stack (AWS, K8, Python/Django, React, Postgres).
• Experience leveraging AI development tools.
• Experience with large-scale web frontend applications.
