What you will do

• Define and lead the evolution of core search and indexing capabilities within hirify.globalsearch.
• Research and implement advances in search infrastructure, data structures, and retrieval algorithms.
• Collaborate with product teams to shape the long-term technical vision for search.
• Drive innovation in query execution and relevance layers for large-scale systems.
• Act as a subject matter expert for core hirify.globalsearch domains.
• Mentor expert engineers and provide technical and professional guidance.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading technical projects in search infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Java and advanced data structures.
• Hands-on experience with hirify.globalsearch, Lucene, or Solr.
• Ability to work with a high level of autonomy across distributed teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Eligibility to work within the company's approved global regions (Export control compliance required).

Nice to have

• Experience with open source project contributions.
• Familiarity with varied source control workflows and CI pipelines.
