TL;DR
Senior Backend Engineer (C#/.NET): Building and optimizing an incident-automation platform for charger infrastructure with an accent on distributed backend services, workflow orchestration, and event-driven architecture. Location: Bolzano, Italy (Onsite position)

What you will do
- Design and implement backend services for an incident-automation platform, including telemetry processing and orchestration.
- Evolve the system architecture toward a modular, event-driven, and scalable backend platform.
- Build and maintain reliable integrations with charger telemetry, ticketing systems, and customer-facing components.
- Improve workflow reliability, idempotency, retry mechanisms, and state management.
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and data engineering teams to translate operational playbooks into backend capabilities.
- Define engineering standards, testing strategies, and deployment patterns for the backend architecture.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant experience in backend engineering for production systems
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database design
- Experience with event-driven architectures, message queues, and asynchronous processing
- Fluent in English
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD, and AWS
- Exposure to workflow engines, rules engines, or complex backend automation
- Experience in IoT, industrial, or operationally critical environments
- German and/or Italian language skills
