Salary: $150,000 - $210,000 per year

What you will do

• Independently design, execute, and interpret complex experimental programs in ingestible electronics, bioelectronic systems, and materials engineering.
• Lead device system development including firmware, sensing integration, materials processing, and preclinical validation.
• Develop scalable experimental workflows and technical infrastructure to support program growth.
• Lead or co-lead grant proposal preparation and sponsor engagement including technical narratives and budget development.
• Manage research portfolios, technical milestones, and coordinate cross-functional scientific contributions.
• Supervise research associates, engineers, and junior scientists providing mentorship and performance feedback.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Cambridge, MA
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 7 years of combined postdoctoral and industry R&D experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in device engineering, electronics integration, materials processing, or bioelectronic systems.
• Experience leading grant submissions and supervising research staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for sponsor-facing engagement.
