Mgr, Solutions Engineering (Automotive & Energy): Leading a team of Solutions Engineers supporting key global strategic customers with an accent on shaping technical go-to-market strategy and aligning sales execution with technical excellence. Focus on driving solution development, engaging with customers and partners, and influencing roadmap direction through collaboration with internal teams.

Location: Candidates must reside in Central or Eastern time zones. Ideal locations: Houston, Dallas, Detroit.

Salary: 278,800 - 360,800 USD

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, fostering technical expertise and a customer-first mindset.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and Talent Acquisition to build and execute a strategic hiring plan.
  • Drive operational alignment through forecast meetings, ensuring visibility into pipeline health and technical engagement readiness.
  • Define and execute the regional technical strategy aligned to sales priorities and customer transformation goals.
  • Engage directly with customers and partners, representing the technical voice of the region.
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to advocate for customer needs.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or solution architecture within enterprise technology.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including hiring and developing technical teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and Talent Acquisition on workforce planning.
  • Demonstrated success in forecast accuracy, pipeline discipline, and quota alignment with sales leadership.
  • Deep understanding of data infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise IT architectures.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers, partners, and field teams.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and experience in the Media and Entertainment vertical is highly preferred.
