What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend payment services for a global platform.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using object-oriented principles.
• Implement secure data handling practices to ensure payment compliance.
• Leverage cloud computing and architectural patterns to drive system innovation, including GenAI integration.
• Enhance service reliability through observability, automation, and operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of backend software development experience in cloud-based distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience integrating services with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
• Must be based in Austin, TX to support the required hybrid office model.

Nice to have

• Background in payment platforms or processing systems.
• Experience implementing backend services leveraging GenAI.
• Hands-on experience with production support, including monitoring and incident resolution.
• Proven ability to design and deploy scalable services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
