What you will do

  • Drive new client acquisition and grow revenue by engaging high-potential agencies and advertisers.
  • Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of clients to onboard onto the Microsoft Advertising platform.
  • Collaborate with internal account managers and strategy teams to develop quality customer plans.
  • Cultivate strategic client relationships with decision-makers, media planners, and senior leadership.
  • Deliver customized search solutions and impactful presentations to prospective clients.
  • Optimize product adoption and drive revenue against specific key performance indicators.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of total work experience, including at least 3 years in online media sales or digital advertising.
  • Strong professional network in the South African marketplace, particularly in the Western Cape.
  • Proven track record of building a client base from scratch and meeting revenue targets.
  • Expertise in lead generation, networking, and ad-agency relationship management.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills for engaging leadership-level stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
  • In-depth understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Experience in dedicated Ad Sales roles.
