What you will do
- Drive new client acquisition and grow revenue by engaging high-potential agencies and advertisers.
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of clients to onboard onto the Microsoft Advertising platform.
- Collaborate with internal account managers and strategy teams to develop quality customer plans.
- Cultivate strategic client relationships with decision-makers, media planners, and senior leadership.
- Deliver customized search solutions and impactful presentations to prospective clients.
- Optimize product adoption and drive revenue against specific key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of total work experience, including at least 3 years in online media sales or digital advertising.
- Strong professional network in the South African marketplace, particularly in the Western Cape.
- Proven track record of building a client base from scratch and meeting revenue targets.
- Expertise in lead generation, networking, and ad-agency relationship management.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills for engaging leadership-level stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and ability to operate effectively under ambiguity.
Nice to have
- Previous experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- In-depth understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Experience in dedicated Ad Sales roles.
