What you will do
- Develop and enrich backend microservices to support threat detection and counter-adversary operations.
- Build and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and globally distributed cloud ecosystems.
- Collaborate across teams to research, define, and architect resilient software solutions.
- Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, logging, metrics, and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Improve system architecture, performance, stability, and user experience.
- Mentor other developers on backend and data storage technologies within an agile, high-trust environment.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bucharest, Romania.
- Significant professional experience in software engineering using OOP languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality, unit-tested, and code-reviewed software in an agile, test-driven environment.
- Strong commitment to engineering best practices and resilient architecture.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in data structures and algorithms.

- Professional exposure to Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
