What you will do

• Develop and enrich backend microservices to support threat detection and counter-adversary operations.
• Build and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and globally distributed cloud ecosystems.
• Collaborate across teams to research, define, and architect resilient software solutions.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, logging, metrics, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Improve system architecture, performance, stability, and user experience.
• Mentor other developers on backend and data storage technologies within an agile, high-trust environment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Bucharest, Romania.
• Significant professional experience in software engineering using OOP languages such as Go, Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts, including sharding, partitioning, and concurrency.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality, unit-tested, and code-reviewed software in an agile, test-driven environment.
• Strong commitment to engineering best practices and resilient architecture.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in data structures and algorithms.

Nice to have

• Professional exposure to Go, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
