What you will do

• Design and implement robust distributed reinforcement learning systems.
• Build and optimize frameworks for complex inference-time reasoning, including planning and tree search.
• Develop advanced environments and testing harnesses for AI agents.
• Take ownership of technical components across the entire development stack.
• Collaborate with global teams to solve complex concurrency and architectural challenges.

Requirements

• Experience with large-scale reinforcement learning systems.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, JAX, and Rust.
• Ability to keep up with state-of-the-art RL and inference time compute algorithms.
• Must be able to work in-person in London, UK.
• Must be willing to attend late meetings at least once a week for coordination with the Palo Alto team.
