Quality Engineer

TL;DR

Quality Engineer (QA Automation): Designing and executing comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies for the Assets OPS product within the hirify.global HUB platform with an accent on backend integrations and frontend validation. Focus on building and maintaining automated UI/API testing frameworks using TypeScript, Playwright, and Jest in an agile development environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Madrid (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Take full ownership of product quality and reliability across frontend, backend, and mobile features.
• Develop and maintain automated UI tests using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Design and execute robust API tests using Jest for backend validation.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and prevent quality issues early.
• Lead test planning and risk assessments for stable and secure releases.
• Improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies in an agile team.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (C1+)
• Strong understanding of testing principles and quality assurance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with web automation using Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience in API testing with frameworks like Jest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps).
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and strong collaborative skills.
