What you will do
- Develop and cultivate new and existing relationships to meet and exceed annual sales targets.
- Prepare formal quotes and respond to inquiries from customers, agents, and third-party vendors.
- Monitor account activity, including new accounts as well as renewal base for all electronic products.
- Help plan and implement sales and marketing strategic plans and projects.
- Develop and manage marketing campaigns through collaboration with the marketing manager.
- Submit regular sales and business activity reports and participate in key library conferences and tradeshows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn continuously.
- Speaks and writes English.
- Availability for occasional travel.
Nice to have
- 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in publishing, information services, or technology sectors.
- Experience with STM publishing, academic content, or research intelligence solutions.
- Basic proficiency with CRM tools, Excel, and corporate email.
- Knowledge of consultative sales methodologies (e.g., SPIN).
