Technical Program Manager Intern

TL;DR

Technical Program Manager Intern: Contributing to fast-paced, cross-functional projects, helping to define scope, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders with an accent on process improvements, small projects/tasks, and creating efficiencies. Focus on communicating effectively, managing stakeholder expectations, and shadowing projects with a wide pool of experienced TPgMs from different backgrounds and expertise.

Location: In office 3-5 days a week in Austin, TX or San Francisco, CA.

Salary: $25-30/hr

What you will do

• Work with a mentor TPgM who will guide you throughout the internship and advise your projects.
• Work with a wide range of projects and teams for process improvements, small projects/tasks, and creating efficiencies.
• Learn to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Learn how products and initiatives are delivered effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Become proficient in tools and methodologies to start your career as a TPgM.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters program in MIS, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business with deep level of technical curiosity, or relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, iterate, and take feedback well.
• Ability to understand/learn how to work with multiple functions (development, design, product, operations,etc).
• Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.
• In office 3-5 days a week.

Nice to have

• Ability to grok knowledge/data into presentations, summaries, status reports, narratives.
• Software development experience.
